Duration: Part-Time and Full-Time Positions Available | 20252026 School Year
Overview:
We are actively seeking qualified Sign Language Interpreters to support students with multiple needs across K12 settings for the upcoming school year. Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available within a supportive educational environment.
Key Details:
Grade Levels: K12 (student placements vary)
Schedule: Part-time and full-time openings
Start Date: Start of the 20252026 School Year
Caseload: Students with multiple needs (assignment based on availability and skill match)
State Licensing Requirements (Nevada):
A 3.5 EIPA is required to qualify for a Provisional License
A 4.0 EIPA is expected for a Non-Provisional License , especially for interpreters not currently on the Nevada Registry
Must meet Nevada state certification and licensure standards for educational interpreting
Qualifications:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
Prior school-based interpreting experience required
Ability to interpret across various age groups and classroom environments
Strong understanding of educational terminology and IEP accommodations
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with students who have multiple or complex needs
Familiarity with IEP teams and special education services
Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic learning environments
